I do not recommend putting anything in the crates with the dogs that they could chew and potentially eat. The number one thing I see happen to Golden’s is obstructions from them chewing a toy or a blanket. They swallow the fabric and next thing you know you are in for surgery to have it removed. Some dogs are great but until you are positive your dog won’t ingest something please do not put a cute blanket or bed in their crate. What we use is Kuranda Beds. They have options that can go inside the crates (they don’t work with the dividers). These things are indestructible. I order the heavy duty vinyl and aluminum frames. They are super easy to clean and they can chew or scratch at them all day long and can’t destroy them. They have a great warrantee as well and you can buy replacement parts.
