Available

We are downsizing and do have adults retiring, and dogs available or co-ownership that will stay in our program.  Please see below

On occasion we part with our young adults.  While we wish we could keep all of them it is really only fair to the dogs to get the one on one love and attention they deserve.  A dog may become available for various reason such as they fail a health clearance.  This does not mean there is necessarily anything clinically wrong with the dog merely that it doesn’t meet our standards for breeding.  In an effort to always better the breed we only breed the very best dogs.  A girl may become available because she’s been bred and we are done using her.  We feel it’s only fair for them to retire in style with a family.   There can be many different reasons and we will always share with you why they’ve become available.

Soon to be retired and available for adoption will be

Marge (2/19/22) Marge is available to a pet home. She is being ruled out of our program because she is on the smaller side and because she is quite submissive. She is a very sweet girl and loves people and other dogs.  She will require a family that is willing to work with her that understands she is going to need patience and love. She will need to be slowly encouraged through positive experiences away from the pack that she tends to depend upon for confidence. She’s confident with the other dogs around but when she is alone she is submissive so more socialization and one on one love will be the key for her.  She is housebroken, knows basic obedience and is a loving dog. The ideal home would have another dog for her but this is not a must. Once she warms up she is silly and very goofy. She tries very hard to please and is easy to train. Her adoption fee is $3000 and she needs to be spayed.

Co-ownership dogs
All of these dogs would remain in our breeding program and come to us for stud service or a litter but live with you as your dogs. There is more to it and we don’t do this lightly so please contact us if this is of interest to you.  You also must live within a reasonable driving distance to Grand Rapids.  They also cost less than one of our pets.

Willa (4/13/21) Willa has not yet had a litter but does have all of her clearances and we would consider a co-ownership with the right family. She would excel at rally, obedience or agility. Families interested in this, we would pay for all entries for you to title her. She is petite and not a big girl. She loves all kids, dogs, cats and has all of her basic obedience. This is not a requirement to co-own her merely something she would excel at. She is very smart and very sweet. She is confident enough that she could be without another dog but would love a dog friend as well.

Drama (5/17/20) Drama has had one litter and her pedigree is very important to our breeding program. If you have an interest in conformation showing in AKC or UKC shows, rally, even therapy work, we would consider co-owning her. She loves other dogs and would really prefer to have the company of at least one other animal. She is a funny and quirky dog that we are very attached to. She’s highly intelligent and learns everything easily. She loves children, dogs, cats and has all of her basic obedience.
