VanGoghlden’s Too Much Time In Quarantine – Rona

Rona is an Elsa and Bumper daughter. She is a half sibling to Ben, Liza, and Willa. She is a full sibling to Doug. Rona is our Alpha around here which is ironic as she’s on the smaller side. She was a bottle baby and nearly half the size of her brother Doug at birth. (Both are within standard now) Rona is known to bark at her ball and then pick it up and throw it in the air. She does not tolerate any fighting or bickering between the other girls. Much like her mother, she is very sweet and smart. She loves to please, snuggle and play. She is goofy and quirky and definitely a favorite at the vets office, with visitors and the family.
Rona of course has all of her clearances which can be verified on ofa She is also DNA clear of everything. She gave us a beautiful litter of 9 puppies. Unfortunately she was allergic to the sutures. Her milk never fully came in. Due to her not having a good experience being a mom she will be available to a good home. She’s wonderful with all people including children but she would not be a good fit with other animals. She is NOT an aggressive dog by any means but she is an alpha female and can rule a pack of dogs. Due to this we feel she is best suited in a home where she is the only animal. She is housebroken, crate trained, loves to play fetch, is wonderful with kids and has a very sweet, fun and quirky personality. She’s honestly probably the dream dog for an empty nester because she’s small, calm, loves attention but self sufficient, trained but loves to learn new things, would be happy to travel with you, comes from solid healthy longevity lines, and will bond with her new people really well. Unlike most of our dogs she doesn’t require other dogs to be placed with. This is not to say she wouldn’t work for a family because she would.
