Poppy is a Bernie and Charlotte daughter. This is a repeat breeding of Hazel. The temperaments and type of the first litter were so amazing we opted to repeat the breeding for a second time. The majority of both litters are therapy dogs. Poppy herself is a bit of a goofball much like her mother. She crawls often times which is hilarious because she does it to be silly. This dog will absolutely do some ridiculous things to make you laugh. One of her favorite activities is chasing moths and butterflies in the yard. She is beyond sweet! She loves to snuggle and be with her people. Poppy is housebroken, crate trained and loves kids, cats and dogs. Everyone she meets is a friend. She comes when called even off leash. She doesn’t jump and approaches new people calmly. She is of course still a baby at just one year old so she could use more obedience training and some time to grow up. She would make an excellent therapy dog or just a great pet. She very much takes after her Dad and Mom and is going to want to be with you ALWAYS! We have done preliminary X-rays of her hips and elbows, she has her eye clearance, DNA testing and has had her heart listened to but has not had a final echocardiogram. She is available to a pet or therapy home. We’ve decided to part with her because we have her Dad and brother as well. She is priced just slightly more than a puppy without housebreaking or additional health testing but the price will go up as we do more advanced training with her.
