VanGoghlden’s Reflection of Kyrie – Liza
Liza has been retired from breeding.
Liza’s Pedigree (you can see her genetic testing and clearances from here by clicking back to standard pedigree) We did BVA (British veterinary association) clearances for her hips and elbows because it gave more information but we will always be happy to show proof of those clearances along with any other clearances and genetic testing on any and all of our dogs.
Liza is an Elsa daughter. She is a full sibling to Ben. She is also a half sibling to our original Bentley. If you asked me to pick my favorite female dog of all time temperament wise it would hands down be Liza, which says a lot because I’ve been breeding since 1996. She is the absolute sweetest dog, always happy to do some training, go anywhere or stay home. She’s the perfect amount of enough drive to go all day and enough calm to relax and hang around the house when our busy family has a chaotic schedule. If I could clone her I would. She’s not overly needy but loves to snuggle. She’s smart enough to learn quickly but wants to please so much she opts not to problem solve her way into trouble. I just absolutely adore her. In her third and final litter she not only nursed her own 11 puppies she attempted to nurse her half sisters 9 puppies. We had to continually put better barriers between the litters because Liza kept going over to the other litter. After both litters were weaned and on to food she continued to sneak in and nurse all 20 puppies at night. That’s the kind of mom she is and that’s the kind of dog she is. Due to how incredibly smart she is Liza has been trained as a service dog. While she would make a great therapy dog candidate we opted to train her as a service dog in part because of how very intuitive she has always been. Liza has also passed on her excellent temperament and produced several therapy and service dog offspring in just three litters.
